This Privacy Policy explains how Rabari Match collects, uses, stores, and protects your information when you use our website and Android application.

1. Scope
This policy applies to personal data processed through Rabari Match services, including registration, email verification, profile management, Aadhaar or document verification, matchmaking search, chat, audio/video calling, interests, shortlists, profile views, blocking, reporting, mobile number request workflows, subscription and payment modules, and customer support.
2. Information We Collect
- Account data: name, email, mobile number, login credentials, and verification status.
- Profile data: demographic details, date of birth, address details, family details, education, career, lifestyle details, photos, and preferences you choose to share.
- Verification data: Aadhaar number, document type, Aadhaar front/back images or other verification documents, review status, rejection comments, and related admin actions.
- Interaction data: sent/received interests, shortlist actions, profile views, blocked users, profile reports, chat messages, chat image attachments, call history, and mobile number request status.
- Transaction data: subscription plan details, coupons, payment amount, payment status, Razorpay order/payment identifiers, signatures, and invoice-related metadata. Card, UPI, or banking credentials are processed by payment providers and are not stored in full by us.
- Security and support data: email verification tokens, password reset tokens, audit logs, report descriptions, support messages, and admin review history.
- Technical data: IP address, browser/app version, device and network details, session data, location inferred from IP for chat safety, and security logs used to protect the platform.
3. How We Use Information
- To create and manage your account and profile.
- To verify email ownership and review Aadhaar or other profile verification documents.
- To provide matchmaking features such as search, profile visibility, interests, shortlists, and chat.
- To support mobile number access requests, chat image sharing, audio/video calls, call history, blocking, and profile reporting.
- To process subscriptions, coupons, plan features, payment confirmations, payment history, and account entitlements.
- To enforce trust and safety controls, including moderation, fraud checks, report review, blocked-user controls, and audit logging.
- To send service notifications, account alerts, and support communication.
- To improve service quality, reliability, and performance on web and Android clients.
4. Android Application and Device Permissions
If you access Rabari Match through an Android application or app shell, we may process additional app context needed to deliver features consistently.
- Internet and network state: required for secure API calls, chat, and real-time updates.
- Camera, microphone, or media access (if enabled by you): used for profile photo upload, Aadhaar/document upload, chat image attachments, and audio/video calling where applicable.
- Notification permissions (if enabled by you): used to deliver alerts such as interests, chat updates, and account notices.
Permission prompts are controlled by your device. You can modify or revoke app permissions anytime in Android settings, though some features may stop working.
5. Information Sharing
- With other members: profile details you publish and actions you take in the platform may be visible according to feature and privacy controls.
- With chat or call participants: messages, attachments, call actions, profile links, and related interaction details are shared with the member you interact with.
- With mobile number request participants: your mobile number is shown to another member only through platform-approved access rules or when you choose to share it.
- With service providers: hosting, email, messaging, analytics, storage, and payment partners such as Razorpay who process data under contractual safeguards.
- With administrators and reviewers: profile verification documents, reports, audit logs, and moderation details may be reviewed to operate and protect the platform.
- With legal authorities: when required by applicable law, lawful request, or to protect rights, safety, and platform integrity.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal data for as long as needed to provide services, complete transactions, resolve disputes, maintain business records, and meet legal obligations. Some payment records, audit logs, security logs, verification records, and report history may be retained for a longer period for fraud prevention, dispute handling, legal compliance, and platform safety.
When you delete your profile, the account is soft-deleted by marking it as deleted so it is no longer available for normal login or matchmaking use. Related records may be retained where required for safety, audit, payment, dispute, legal, or operational reasons, and may be deleted or anonymized later when retention is no longer needed.
7. Security Practices
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect your information, including password hashing, access controls, secure transport protocols, role-based administration, audit logging, file validation, and monitoring of suspicious activity. No internet system is fully risk-free, but we continuously improve controls to reduce risk.
8. Your Choices and Rights
- Access and update your profile and account information from your account area.
- Control visibility and interactions through available platform settings and features.
- Use available features to block members, report profiles, manage shortlists, and manage mobile number requests.
- Delete your profile from the profile page. Deletion is handled as a soft deletion, subject to legal, safety, payment, audit, and operational retention requirements.
- Contact support for privacy concerns or correction requests.
9. Cookies, Sessions, and Local Storage
We use cookies, server-side sessions, and similar storage to keep you signed in, remember selected plan or coupon actions, maintain app shell behavior, protect forms, support payment flows, and improve reliability. You can control cookies in your browser settings, but disabling them may prevent login, checkout, chat, or other features from working correctly.
10. Children and Eligibility
Rabari Match is intended for adults eligible for matrimonial services under applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
